HOW DOES IT WORK?

How does it work?

Pafos Smart Parking provides the exact availability of free Parking Lots in Pafos, guiding you to the desired free area. It will allow you to park and pay for parking digitally, saving you time and consequently money. The steps to park are:

  1. Select the parking bay.
  2. Select the parking time, if required by the payment method in use.
  3. Proceed to payment.

The payment methods available are:

  • Payment by credit card – you will enter your card details at the time of payment, where you will connect with the bank circuit selected by the manager of your municipality.
  • Payment with Rechargable Card – you can choose and top up the prepaid card with a desired credit directly from the payment method screen. REMEMBER: if you use the prepaid card you will have to manually close the parking once it is finished.

Next to the parking perimeter.

How can I add a payment method?

From the bottom or side menu by clicking on the credit card icon – then following the instructions to add the desired method.

How does the assessor verify that I have paid?

Directly from its control system it will check the regularity of the parking without the need to affix messages or labels.

Payment method

Select your payment method between credit cards or prepaid cards.

Credit card:

Payment by credit card allows you to pay for a parking by setting a specific time. Your card data will NEVER be stored within our application. You can possibly register them within the payment circuit or on your phone if you want to speed up the credit card payment process. In any case, our application will never record your payment details.

Rechargeable card:

The prepaid card is a virtual rechargeable card, onto which you can load the credit you deem appropriate and will allow you to activate and deactivate a stop, without setting a time limit. In fact, you will have to finish the stop manually. REMEMBER: after selecting the method it will automatically be set as the preferred method for the next Parking, until you change it manually.

Charging rechargeable card:

You can recharge the prepaid card within the ‘payment method’ window or during the first screen of ‘P’ the parking process. To top up the card you will need to pay through the banking circuit identified by your manager.

The parking process differs depending on the payment method:

Where can I park with Pafos Smart Parking?

In all paid parking spaces available from on Pafos Smart Parking.

How can I find out if there are places available in the various areas of Pafos?

From the Pafos Smart Parking home screen and by zooming in on the map, it is possible to check availability in all the streets of Pafos manned by the system. Then by selecting a street you can start Google navigation to get to the selected destination.

Where can I find the required parking space number?

All parking bays are uniquely numbered with a number, positioned along the perimeter of the bay (in relation to its shape and position).

How can I manage accounts and personal information?

How do I register?

After downloading and opening the App, simply select the “Login” item.

How can I cancel my account?

Once you have logged in / registered, via the “Profile” button, where your name appears, at the bottom left. Where it will be possible to delete your data, while all information on any transactions carried out will be kept, by law, for a period of 10 years.

I changed my email, can I update Pafos Smart Parking?

Using the “Profile” button, where your name appears, in the lower left corner, in the ‘profile data management’ section.

I can’t remember my password anymore.

In case of loss of the password, from the login page it is possible to request the reset of the current password. A new temporary password will be sent to the email address entered during registration.

Can I change my password?

Can I download my personal data?

As required by current legislation (GDPR), Through the “Profile” button, where your name appears, at the bottom left, in the ‘profile data management section, it is possible to download a file in .zip format containing all personal data and information relating to operations performed with Pafos Smart Parking.

What are the payment methods and how do they work?

How do I select the payment method for the parking?

Using the ‘payment method’ button, the second button or the credit card icon next to the ‘P’ button, where you can select the payment method for parking.

How do I start paying for the parking?

Using the ‘P’ button, after selecting the free space on which you intend to park and filling in all the required fields, in the summary screen there will be the button:
1. ‘PROCEED TO PAYMENT‘ for payment by credit card – where the payment interface will open for entering the credit card data and starting the transaction.
2. ‘START THE PARK‘ which will automatically start the payment using the prepaid card selected.

How can I start or end a payment?

It depends on the payment method:

    • Credit card – closes automatically. – Payment is made at the time of the transaction, after selecting the estimated parking time when you will connect to the bank transaction portal where you will insert your credit card data and complete the purchase.
    • Rechargeable cards – from the ACTIVE PARKING menu item, by clicking on the FINISH button.
      In this case, the park must be closed manually. In case of exhaustion of the credit for the connection or of the battery, it is necessary to restore the operation of the device to close the payment.

Can I pay for parking without registering on Pafos Smart Parking?

Yes. After downloading and launching Pafos Smart Parking, you can park by clicking on P, and pay by entering your credit card details once you have selected the parking space you will park on.

How can I manage the parking time?

How can I set a parking time?

        • Rechargeable card – Registered users can purchase a credit that can be used to pay for the parking. In this case, the payment is timed, so it requires the beginning and the end and, with the exception of the minimum amount, the amount of the amount is calculated per minute of parking used.
        • Credit card – they must instead enter the parking end time in screen 2 of the park section.

      How can I extend my stay?

      It depends on the payment method:

            • Rechargeable card – not necessary – payment ends when – from the ACTIVE PARKING menu item, by clicking on the TERMINATION button.
            • Credit Card – from the ACTIVE PARKING menu item, by clicking on the EXTEND PARKING button.
How do I get the payment receipt?

Does Pafos Smart Parking issue a fiscal document for the Parking made?

Any invoices must be requested from the Parking Manager for a fee.

What happens if i receive a sanction?

How is my stop checked by the traffic auxiliaries?

Directly on the portal reserved for them. All payments are stored anonimously by the system.

What should I do if I am sanctioned? ?

In the event of a sanction, check on Pafos Smart Parking if the payment is active (“Active Parking” button) and if the Parking number used corresponds to the one present in the sanction or, if the sanction refers to previous events, if in the history of the security of payment, the period and the number of Parkings indicated in the sanction are covered by a payment. In any case it will be necessary to contact the Local Police for the necessary checks.

Do I need to display something on the windshield?

There is no need to display anything on the vehicle.

Is it true that there are no service charges?

The service does not include additional costs when charging and paying for the parking.
